For 20 years, our family-owned operation has proudly called Batam Island home — crafting vessels that work hard, explore further, and stand the test of time. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Indonesia’s most versatile shipyards, trusted across the region and beyond.
Our 52-hectare site on the water’s edge is more than just a yard — it’s a hub for marine innovation. With deepwater access and over 300 metres of sea frontage, we handle projects of every scale with confidence and care.
BBS specialises in building and maintaining a wide range of vessels — from rugged tugboats and multi-role barges to precision dredgers, crane barges, liveaboard dive boats, landing craft, and even expedition-class superyachts. Each one is tailored to purpose, shaped by experience, and built to go the distance.
Backed by in-house engineering expertise, a hands-on design team, and skilled tradespeople, we deliver solutions that are practical, efficient, and ready for the real world. We’ve also supported hundreds of large vessel repairs over the years — helping keep fleets moving with minimal downtime.
