Certifications
At BBS, quality, safety, and environmental responsibility aren’t just checkboxes — they’re embedded in how we work, day in and day out.
We hold certifications to the following international standards:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
- OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management
These standards support our commitment to consistent, responsible operations — but our true benchmark is the trust our clients place in us.
Whether you’re building from the ground up or need repairs with a fast turnaround, we work to your specifications, your standards, and your goals. Whatever the brief, we’re here to deliver.
Shipyard Facilities
Our shipyard isn’t just large — it’s built for flexibility, efficiency, and real marine work. Spread across a carefully developed site, our facilities allow us to handle everything from custom builds to major refits, all under one roof.
Land area
With over 52 hectares of operational space, our yard offers the scale needed for simultaneous new builds, repairs, and storage — without compromise on quality or safety.
Basin
Our 6-hectare basin provides over 1.2 kilometres of protected water frontage. It’s more than just a holding area — it allows for hydrodynamic testing, mooring trials, and fine-tuning vessel performance right on-site.
Water Frontage
With approximately 400 metres of sea frontage and water depths from 5 to 20 metres, we can accommodate a wide range of vessel types — from shallow-draft workboats to deep-draft dredgers and support ships.
Infrastructure
We operate with purpose-built facilities including:
- Administrative and engineering offices
- Fabrication and mechanical workshops
- Warehouses and dedicated material storage areas. All designed for efficient workflow and safety-first operations.
Equipment
Our capabilities are backed by a robust set of heavy machinery, including:
- Crawler cranes (up to 250 tons)
- CNC plasma cutting machines for precision fabrication
- Overhead cranes (up to 25 tons)
All equipment is regularly maintained and tested to support the heavy-lift, precision-cutting, and assembly demands of modern shipbuilding.
